After several months of studying–a little here and a little there–I finally took the FAA exam earlier this weekfor certification as a Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) Remote Pilot. Its been nearly eight years since I retired from the Air Force. Now I have something that connects my past as an Airman to the present. It may be a while before I have opportunities to use this license; however, I am excited to see the prospects!
