Its been way too long since I posted on this site. This is not an apology, but just a simple statement about the business of life. So what have I been up to?
Well, this summer was filled with a bunch of weekend trips, unfortunately some funerals, lots of house projects, and one item of deep interest for me–hopefully the beginnings of a new chapter in my life.
After considerable prayer, along with some reading and research, I’ve settled on a direction. I began the application process for a PhD in Geophysics via Boise State University to begin Fall 2020. Endorsements, transcripts, and a resume have been submitted. Other materials will be uploaded in coming weeks. I hope that I will make as good of an impression on the department as they are making on me.
There is still a bit of house work and Boise State-related things to do, but once some of the back log is cleared I am hoping to gain more time to post on technical subjects.
